So in these multiplayer demos I've been seeing, I can't help but notice a honeycomb thing come around the screen sometimes. At first I thought it was armor mode but later figured out it wasn't. And when someone uses it there energy drains slowly, anyone have any idea what it is?

I think it is blood, or the suit being repaired.

Pay attention to the energy bar, it is low and the Honeycomb thing slowly disappears.

Like blood in COD4/MW2, it goes away when your health regenerates.

Maybe to help the player know it's state of health faster?

I think it's incredibly obtrusive.

its armor mode, in one vid I saw, once he went into max armor, the Cry-comb (I am now taking credit for that word!) appear at the top and bottom. unfortunately I think it will get in the way with consoles and computers at low resolution, the box thing around the crosshairs is kinda annoying too

I don't think its low health or energy. I looked at the hero's journey multiplayer footage just now at 1:01 he has 95% energy and it comes up, I did swear I heard the suits voice, it could be some type of suit mode. And I don't think it's low health I saw a video earlier today and the guy had blood on his screen when he was about to die.

IIRC, the new armor mode drains energy slowly, but offers near-invincibility (notice that when the honeycomb overlay is drawn the character is always in armor mode).
