The hoods are not working properly. Most, if not all the hoods I ware clip with my characters head, having their hair stick out through the hood.

And a hood recieved from theives guild quest doesnt appear on the character, insead makes my character bald on top.

Had a similar problem with this with the Novice Hood, but it stopped on its own for some reason. Probably just another gremlin amongst the rest that will be solved, I'm thinking. Once in a while, when I change from hood to helm, the helm will be invisible!
