No idea why it's taking so long but I hope that Honest Hearts is like 1200 to 1600 MSP instead of regular 800 MSP.

Why? To punish 360 users? That's kinda lame.

No, because that amount of points would mean the DLC is bigger and has more stuff in.

I have my fingers crossed. Playing Skyrim is definitely a higher priority than Fallout NV. I hope the wait is worth it.

Makes no difference to me. I broke down and bought Dead Monkey last week and don't even have any desire to play it now because I've lost interest in New Vegas and have now started playing FO3 again.

At this point I couldn't care less about the remaining DLC's. I'll just keep playing FO3 until Skyrim comes out.

IMO Obsidian not only missed the mark regarding New Vegas, but also dropped the ball on the DLC's. There should've already been at least two of them released by now, but because of the greed of Microshaft along with the bugs that it was released with as well as the impending release of Skyrim has svcked the life out of it.

Granted, but after paying $60 for the game and $10 for Dead Money, it seems excessive to spend another $15-20 on a single DLC. But you make a good point, if it were huge and had 30+ hours of gameplay, I'd be down for it.

Though I'd also rather pay 1200 pts for Limbo than an add-on.

Meh.

If I drop all the single player shooter I have plenty of time to play both.

Well, completely depends on the size of the DLC but if it's Point Lookout x2 in quests, npc's, area, weapons, enemies, armors, misc items, crafting, perks then I'd say it could be worth 1200-1600 MSP.
Remember that Obsidian is good with replayability in quests so we might just do this DLC 2 to 6 times.
But yeah the point is that since it's taking so long, maybe it'll be a really big DLC.
Or it might just be around Dead Money's size and Obsidian are slow at developing the game.
Still, Obsidian has a smaller team than Bethesda and they might be working on another IP/title at the same time.

Me, I have quit Fallout 3 a long time ago, hell, my dad probably mistook it for fire wood or something cause I can't find it anymore :D

I am waiting very patiently for the next dlc, and I will buy it on the first day, just because I love Fallout New Vegas so much.

IIRC, they're possibly planned total 8 Volume Downloadable contents(including "Dead Money", "Honest Hearts", "Lonesome Road", and "Old World Blues") until 2012.

It should definitely be out before Skyrim. I'd guess that they wouldn't want another product with their name on it come out at the same time as their main franchise, they don't want another distraction and it would be bad for DLC sales.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are released between now and September.

How many months is it until Skyrim comes out? There's plenty of time between now and then for NV DLC to come out.

Plus, going by Beth's track record since Morrowind, Skyrim will be mediocre until the modders get their many tentacles on it anyway.

Happy? Really? In what aspect? The bright and somewhat blue desert, the people, etc.?

Big news here, Microshaft paid a [censored]load of money to keep the DLC Dead Monkey off of the other two platforms for a few months. That was a few months that could've should've been better spent preparing for a release for the next DLC, which was only delayed by their greed to have it all for the xbox and the xbox alone.

EDIT: to clarify some more, How would it fare with the rest of your customers if you release a second DLC to any or all platforms when the first one hasn't even been released yet. so yes, Microshaft did delay the schedule...by a couple of months. Those couple of months probably would've been enough to hold my attention a while longer. Sorry, but in all honesty, The greed of Microshaft really put me off of not only Dead Monkey (which I now regret purchasing) but also New Vegas as a whole.

if so am not sure why microsoft payed to get Dead Money first. and i think all DLCs are 15 bucks. Bad Company 2 Vietnam sold for 15 bucks and it was a very good DLC with a bunch of stuff
