I've always felt like the Elderscroll developers weren't fan of spell casting. It never was as much powerfull as hack and slash charactrers. Spells animation never felt like they worked a lot on them (Its all small fireball, little spark or little icy arrows beside the 3 top destro spell for skyrim).

Watching the movies released about ESO seems to show the same lack of flashy move for caster. The Ultimates, the little overcharged lit spell doesn't look as cool as the wing charge or the templar move.

..Templar move is a spell.

All those things are spells.
