My Hopes

These are my biggest hopes after reading the gameinformer article.

1) Stamina based combat seems very amazing. Very similar to Oblivion and Skyrim combat, but with all the details and strategies of an MMO. I hope they do it right.

2) Truly open world. They say its going to be open...and I hope they're telling the truth. If I want to (and am strong enough to) I should be able to stroll from Windhelm to Mournhold. Hoping its a truly open world, and not an "open" world.

3) Instanced player housing and guild halls. I spent a lot of my time in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim in my house. I want to be able to display trophies, relax, and use services (mailbox, crafting, etc...) all from my very modifyable house. This is a huge part of TES, please make it happen.

The stamina combat should be amazing.....in most mmos you are CCd and get locked down...making people frustrated because they are always stun locked. In this game you will have to burn through a targets stamina to cc them. Sounds amazing.

1. Yes, I agree that's awesome.
2. They've said it's completely open with the exception that some areas will be inaccessible at launch to serve as the premise of future expansions.
3. No housing, sorry. Faction halls, on the other hand, seem like a given.

Don't think it'll be open world.
Page 14 says:
"Most of Cyrodiil is in the Elder Scrolls online, but we had to make the playable smaller to fit the requirements of the PvP system".

Guess what? The whole of Cyrodill is gonna be an outdoor warzone......
