So, I finally got my hands on the highly acclaimed Red Dead Redemption, and I have to confess...

Skyrim's horses are TERRIBLE in comparison.

Anyone else think that Bethesda needs to take a few notes from Rockstar, on horses, for future TES games?

Maybe leave Horses out of the game?

Or, give me a cart to put behind the horse that I can carry a 1000 pounds in. Then the horse would be useful.

I've wanted to be able to get my own carriage for a while. Maybe they could even add radiant quests for transporting people between towns and the like.

Horses are the primary source of travel in Red Dead Redemption. Of course Rockstar are going to try their best to make them one of the greatest features in the game. With Skyrim you can walk, use a wagon, a horse, fast travel, etc. I'd rather Bethesda work on more important matters rather than horses. Though I must say, I've played Red Dead for 2 years straight (still do) and I can call it one of my favorite games of all time.

If horses ran that fast then the world wouldn't load and the graphics would be like crap, but that still doesn't mean that they have to be as fast as a kid riding a tricycle. If there were ride-able wagons this wouldn't be such of a problem.
