Hot Blond Follower

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 5:08 pm

i didn't know some followers were not killable. i haven't used followers much because i am scared they would die and i would feel guilty.

does anyone have a link to a page that lists all the followers in the game and who is and who is not killable? (is 'killable' a word or did i just make it up?)

I *think* I saw a list on uesp. Not positive, as it's not something I care about personally....

Mjoll makes a great follower but do not marry her.

i did and her charge came with her and hovered around her.

he sttod by the bed while mjoll and i slept, no magic that night. LOL

I was a tad bit put off by the fact that Aerin is male.... In my mind (due to The Blue Sword, by Robin McKinley) Aerin is female, and VERY red-haired.

I just killed him. Cut off his head with one swing of my axe.

Hroki from the Silver-Blood Inn, Markarth. She's not marriable so you'll have to use console commands:

Players can force the marriage dialog option to appear on NPCs by opening the console, targeting the desired NPC, and typing the command "addfac 19809 1". This could possibly cause issues with NPCs who were not originally intended to have this option.

Also, you need to type the command "setrelationshiprank player 4" after adding the marriage faction. This works on those NPCs you tried the addfac code by itself and didn't work.

Thank you everyone. Seems like Jordis the Sword Maiden is the only viable option regarding the hotness & capabilities, lol.

Anneke Crag-Jumper from Dark River Crossing. She is Hawt married little number but her skills are less than stellar IMHO. As requested though she is blonde and is the best looking follower I have seen to date.

This. Plus she starts with just basic clothes and a pickaxe, so she'll equip damn near anything you give her.

About not getting that sword back, I assume she has been in combat a few times after you gave her the sword?
She could have been disarmed by a mob so that could be the reason why the sword is no longer in her inventory.

She does not look so much the type of a fighter, one who would be taking a Dragon or gang of Mages alone while I hide in a shack/room near by to heal, lol.
What exactly was she doing at Dark River Crossing?

My god you could be right! I have never thought of this because it was a very slim chance. But you could be right! Throughout my 40 hours of play, I've only encountered an enemy who has the ability to disarm me once, and that was an Undead in Red Eagle Cave I went right after I gave Lydia the sword. Ohh! Thank you Mehrune, you've cleared things up between me and Lydia.

She lives there with her husband, to work the mine and I believe something to do with logging. She gives a bandit quest that must be completed to gain her as a follower.

ALL followers are essentially unkillable when in your service, as long as you don't kill them personally. If they are "killed" by any NPC or monster, they will drop to one knee and wait until they have regen'd to something like 20% health, then keep right on going. If, however, you strike them or hit themj with a spell when they are in this state, they will be killed.

By that token, you are right. If your follower gets killed, you should feel VERY guilty.

I accidentally let Anneke Crag-Jumper get killed, and I am almost certain it was not I who struck the final blow, and yes I felt very guilty. That's why I use Lydia, she is so tank like.

It was you, or a spell you were using. If you want to test it, grab a follower and attack a giant then let the follower take them on.

I accidentally killed Lydia. Used ice form on a falmer and she was standing too close, she froze and fell off a three story catwalk in a Dwemer ruin. I felt bad at the time, but there are plenty of Skyrimese who want to follow the dragonborn.
