» Wed May 09, 2012 8:35 pm 1) When you are in a menu, Tab is the universal backspace/exit in the menu even if not stated. Seriously if you get lost in any menu and just want to get the hell out hit tab.
2) You have three speeds Walk, Run, and Sprint, You can toggle walk run but Sprint is your fastest speed that eats stamina and must be an activated key.
3) Your main hand is your right hand (dual weild two melee weapons to see), cause Bethesda is prejudice that way. Since thats your main they put it on the left mouse button (ala primary). But on the screen your hitting left for your right hand and right for your left (and im dyslexic ahhhhhhh). I think it works far better reversing the default and mapping left to left and right to right.
4) The Character Menu is the top level menu, you dont need to go through this radial menu , you can get to all the sub-menus through hotkeys
5) While in your inventory the undocumented C key will allow you to focus and rotate on the 3d inventory object.
6) To use 1-8 to bring up quick spells/inventory/etc favorite an item or spell, then bring up the favorite menu hold the mouse cursor over the favorited item or spell and press a 1-8 key.
7) F12 takes a screenshot through the steam overlay (note: for all steam games). PrintScreen will save to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim.
If your an ESDF'er like me or otherwise having problems with the hotkeys and rebinding F and losing the favorite ability here is a workaround I did.
