If you knew your lore, you'd understand why; Dibella is the Goddess of beauty and love. Her priestesses are often more "liberal"; some even offer instruction in the erotic arts. And again, just like in real life, you can't exactly pick and choose who you want to marry and who will be into you. Besides, how many tavern girls/bartenders do you know in real life who would be interested in you? I'm going to guess not many. As for those who are eligible for marriage, there are plenty of nice looking ones; everyone seems to be too focused on the ones you're most likely to meet. Of the women in Skyrim you can marry who are cute or hot, several are pretty damn good-looking for a set of pixels.

You don't need the console (except for Lydia and Grelka since they're bugged), they're all different and they're all pretty good looking sets of pixels. People who claim there's no hot female candidates for marriage simply haven't played enough of this game.

The only one I'm interested in marrying is Lydia. And she is bugged. So I refuse to marry someone else. I'm hoping the next patch fixes her so she can be married. Otherwise, I will just ignore the marriage thing.
