so in the last year noone decided to drop the theives guild armor who was testing the game?
not one tester decided to drop the light armor and then when it happened to be quest item say "oh better mark that quest item armor as a QUEST ITEM"
now I cant finish the theives guild because the person who owns my armor is the lake I threw it in and the merchant I sold it to.
40 hours in game already worthless.
Why is it worthless because you botched one quest? And how can you call it worthless when you were evidently entertained by it enough to play it for 40 hours? To get to that 40 hour mark, you were probably doing lots of other quests that worked well enough, right? So clearly they did test it-- maybe not as well as you would have liked with regards to this one bug, but well enough to get you happily through 40 hours of playtime. When you start a discussion with massive overstatements, you aren't likely to find many receptive ears. The game isn't broken because one aspect of one line of quests doesn't come off. No, it shouldn't happen that you can't properly finish the quest and it's completely understandable that you'd be pissed off about that, but there's more going on than just that one mission objective. Mark it down as a lesson learned-- don't throw away unique items in Skyrim- and keep playing/start over if you've had fun playing so far.
