House of the Vigilant

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 2:13 pm

I was just wondering, since there was only 1 named (keeper) npc in the hall of the vigilant before it get's attacked/detroyed, are there any other keepers of the vigilant left in skyrim?

There are only a few named Vigilants, many of which, if not all, somehow die. There IS, however, a base that is still standing that holds Vigilants. It's called Stendarr's Beacon, which just so happens to be very close to Fort Dawnguard! Perhaps the Vigil wanted to know what Isran was up to?

Thanks! If you like my signature, perhaps you will find this too to be to your liking:

In this moment you witness a miracle. My character has mantled Talos, and is on the verge of becoming a God.

What a shame, I like them. Thanks for the info!

i like my signature better bcuz since he was alive 223 years ago he could of been the hero of kavach and he is dragonborn which means that he could be a bloodline to the throne but doesnt claim the throne since he is a vampire... and starts off in level 1 in skyrim cuz he fell in a coma and just woke up then got arrested and sent to helgen

I cleaned out the Hall of the Vigilants including their leader long before Dawnguard was a rumor... they never respawned... every time I visit to check, there is no one there. Oh well. My character isn't a fan of the Stendarr or Dawnguard but she likes Vampires even less. So joining Dawnguard was a temperary alliance. She won't speak to them once this is done.

If you're character is a vampire maybe you ran by them at stage 4. Or if you're a werewolf you transformed near them... Or its a glitch.

I wish I would've gotten to them first. Vampires stole my kill.

This may be a bit off topic, but I kinda wish that a few Vigilants would move in to Fort Dawnguard after the first quest for them. Vigilants who regretted not following Isran when he left earlier and now want to make up for their lack of vigilance by aiding the Dawnguard. Would make the Vigilants more relevant and I think it would be very realistic. Not to mention that you could probably learn more about the Vigil itself from them.

Yep, the Tolan vigilant guy says there are more left. In fact, you can encounter them hunting down vampires as random events.

A Vampire ran past me once so I FUS RO DAHed it into a tree where three vigils mashed it. After that they thanked me and said they had been chasing that fiend for ages.

i want to be able to warn the that there base has been destoryed, and they should head for fort dawnguard, or at least find a new base, theres lots of bandit run castles all they have to do is take one over.

Yep, went there once like 2 days ago(I play on PC and got Dawnguard today, so I knew nothing about the story) and thought "I really think you should be able to join these guys, or at least interact with them somehow". It's a little funny for me, because if my character had joined them...
