How to add replay value?

Now ive been playing this game a ton, but when the day is done I really want to test my combat skill without having to run into bandit camp. Its not enough. I want to fight giant boss battles that have a lot of HP. Or go up against and army of trolls.

Then you will have to mod this game or find another one. This game is about exploring the world of Tamriel and existing in that world. Sure, combat is part of this world, but it is not the reason for being there.

Are you on PC? If so, you can use console commands to spawn sheetloads of trolls in front of you and then begin smashing! I'm not gonna find you those atm though.

And sounds like you just have to dungeon-dwell more. Instead of bandit camps, visit new dungeons every time you want blood! Most dungeons have epic bossfights (to the point it begins to feel very repetitive, predictable and linear if you ask me :P).

Start a new character. Visit some tough dungeons early on. Just yesterday I was in Shimmermist Cave on level 2 or so. Damn the downstairs were tough!

Yes, the Thalmor clubhouse up on the coast, Northwatch I think. That is an epic battle.

Ty for reminding me of that place. Got to revisit there. Damn elves...! They ruin the good name of us Altmer! :(

More to adding to the replay value, try different battle strategies. Involve various schools of magicka, hit-and-run tactics, arrows to the knee... Don't just trust your overpowered self-smithed sword!

To add replay value, don't do everything on one single character, but roleplay another character every time. For example, start with a Nord Dragonborn who also helps the Companions, then an Altmer who does the College of Winterhold questline, and then a Khajiit to do the Thieves Guild. Or something along those lines, that's entirely up to you. Come up with what skills they'd use, and stick to those. You will find your character will have more personality, instead of just being a flat-out murder machine. It also makes it more fun to play the game again, because you can do some new stuff every time!

PC version --> Mods.

If not, roleplay.

If both, prepare not to leave Skyrim until TES VI.

Try a different type of Roleplay is the only idea that I can give.
