How are patches : Fallout: New Vegas

I am new to Steam, hence this question :blush:

HOW and when are Fallout NV patches applied?

What would be the version number when all current patches are applied? (shows 1.1.1.271 as of this post)

You have both patches that have currently been released.

In Steam, you can right-click on the game in your game library, then choose Properties. On the Updates tab, you can choose to always keep your game up to date (default setting), or you can tell it not to auto-update.

If there is an update, it will be automatically downloaded and applied when Steam is online.

OPPS - forgot to ask.....

Will turning OFF Steam Cloud sync disable updating games :unsure:

AFAIK, Steam Cloud is something entirely different and is more about storing your game saves on Steam's servers.
