How are the quests?

Are there quests that can be completed without using force, or are they mostly designed for you to shoot your way through? Are they designed so that you can sneak through them without killing anyone? How useful is speech?

Are there many quests that feel like the radiant ones from Skyrim?

The MQ has a wide choice and you're not railroaded into anything, unlike Fallout 3.

The side quests are more like "Yo, bro, you need to go into this raider infested dungeon for [reason]. Good luck!"

Your questlog is absolutely bombarded with radiant quests but the hand-crafted ones are still in there and they're okay.

I haven't done very many quest so far, but I can say there definitely are some rather radiant quest that pop up that are simple "clear dungeon x for settlers".

There are a handful of side quest however that do things differently than just involving shooting. One side quest in particular had me do a lot of investigating and only at the very end did things get violent, but only because I lacked the proper Charisma for it. The quest even had a choice to make at the end of it. Could be a difficult choice for some, but I didn't hesitate too much.

Just my input on what I've experienced so far.

That's been my experience so far. I'm thinking of renaming my character "cannon fodder".
