How Are You Going To Handle Quests?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 2:00 pm

Are you going to accept every quest you come across and save them for later? Or only accept quests you plan to do right then?

I dont really like having 20 quests in my log that needs doing, so I think I will deal with the quest I have taken right away.

I'll complete quests that mean something. "Deliver this package of clothes to the shop in town." I think no.

I usually try to keep a maximum of three quests at a time... but as always it immediately gets out of control until I have more then I can handle, like five in each corner of the map

My first playthrough I tend to do main quest + very few sidequests, ones that I know would benefit me immediately, or have some connection to the main quest. After the main quest? I'll probably do them as they come

I like to try to only accept 1 quest at a time and keep my current quests clear. Of course this is hard when simply walking through town in Oblivion forces rumors down your throat. With the supposed density of quests and content in Skyrim I have a feeling avoiding quests will be that much harder. I feel kind of bad, thinking of complaining about too much content, but if every other character I talk to is just trying to throw a quest at me I think it will be slightly annoying and immersion breaking (ya i said it)

If you deny quests can you go back later and accept it from them?

Take them and do them as I feel like it.

I"m not gonna handle them at all, my character is ;)

No seriously, I have no idea what'll happen tonight. No idea. I"m gonna create a male Nord barbarian. That's all I know.

I will pack my quest log with dozens of the damn things, I don't care.

BUT I am going to try hard to role-play strongly with each different character. My subtle spy character isn't going to accept a quest to go fight a family of trolls. My noble warrior won't take a quest to go beat up a bunch of children and steal their toys. Etc.
