How best to side the BoS with NCR, and if i do....

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 8:17 am

What is the best way to make the BoS and NCR make friends, and if i do this.... will Mr. House back off of trying to make me kill them? I don't want to kiill the BoS and yet I would like to finish the game.

I've looked around here and there and have yet to find out if this is even possible but it is the way I would like to go..

OR

If I kill house and side with Yes man does the NCR go super freak on me?

I have a good Rep with both the NCR and the BoS, also the Boomers and pretty much everyone else...except Ceaser who is now taking a dirt nap....and a few thugs I killed off.

thanks

Alright the only way you can get the BoS to ally with the NCR is to complete all of the Brotherhood quests, after you do that you can go talk to Mcnamara and tell him the NCR is still hunting the Brotherhood and the only way that they can survive is to fight with them at the dam, Colonel Moore wont be happy about it but she'll still allow it to happen.

And no if you intend to side with House there's no way you can keep from destroying the Brotherhood.

Ok, so I have already given house the Plat chip and pretty much all I have left is to off the BoS BUT, I did all the BoS quests wayy back near the begining of the game and we are in good standing, so if I ally the BoS to the NCR NOW I will have to kill house and side with Yes man or the end quest cannot continue?

And killing House is not totally a bummer for me as he creeps me out, BUT I have this thing in my quests lists that says if I continue to help the Yes Man that the NCR will not allow me to work with them any longer.....yikes...

I think I'll just make some hard saves and try things out and see how it works out.

thanks for the quick reply!!

If you side with Yes Man or House, and get the BoS to side with the NCR, at the dam, I do believe that the BoS will be shooting at you, because you're not fighting on the side of the NCR. If you want to preserve the BoS, you pretty much have to side with the NCR, or go Yes Man and ignore the BoS.

Wouldn't that require killing both House and Yes Man? if I do that does the game still go on?

This is getting very confusing, I just got the NCR and the BoS to agree to work together by talking to Colonel Moore and Mcnamara so all is good there but i have no idea what to do next. I am doing a few more side quests for the NCR's Ambassador in the Strip to try to get in better with them, but I have done a TON of quests for the NCR and they still treat me like a Dark Friend.

I think I'm gonna finish up with this last quest and then off House and try yes man first, I'll see how that works out then try the other way too.

I wanna finish this game so I can try out the DLC's!! (I have this thing about doing stuff in order lol)

thanks again.
