What do crossbows look like? Simple vs Ornate? Are they made from ebony, dwarven, etc or are they generic?

More specifically, are there any small crossbows or hand crossbows? My Imperial Rogue would like a smaller weapon than the Hunting bow he uses now. A hand crossbow would be very cosmopolitan and/or tomb-explore-ish / adventure-ish.

Just Steel, and Dwarven crossbows. Both can be enhanced. I've heard someone say that the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow is stronger than a Dragonbone Bow.

Thanks. I hope it isnt too large. I have been craving having a holstered ranged weapon that doesnt obscure the majority of my character when it is on my back.

smaller than certain bows... i still prefer bows though but they are an excellent addition nonetheless

I really miss the Orcish crossbow from MW for my Orc warriors. Hate that they left that out.

Doesn't take up much room imo.

It's always possible they could add in more crossbow types with future updates.

Edit: Should have played Morrowind more. I wasn't aware there were only Steel and Dwarven crossbows in Morrowind too.

There were Orcish Crossbows? I thought there were only Steel, and Dwarven.

Or ... coffee hasn't kicked in yet ...

I know there was a mod that added a daedric crossbow. It is possible one added an orcish one. Its not like we didn't mod the crap out of Morrowind.
