I'm a khajit level 9 and I'm an assasin that relies on illusion in close combat but mostly uses a bow to pick of enemies at range I'm using a long bow at the moment and I need a decent bow that I can afford to smith or find it in a dungeon. Also I need a dagger to sneak attack from behind because sometimes I find myself cornered when I missa shot.

If you want to make your own you will need to level up your Smithing and perk the material type that you want the weapon to be. I love my self made Ebony bow. You can even mine the Ebony yourself if you clear the mine in Shor's Stone of spiders.
