Is there any known method of doing this, Creation Kit or not?

No CK needed. Just go to an enchanting table as though you were going to enchant something, then rename it, and craft with no enchantment.

I didn't know you could do that, but that will be really helpful for the future, but it doesn't really help me with what I'm trying to do. I'm using palyerenchantobject to make a ring that makes me invisible, but after I make that, I want to be able to rename it, because without an enchanting table, it will just be called "Gold Ring."

just.... remove the gold ring from inventory, and add a premade one to inventory?
