How can I tell how long I've played?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 7:38 pm

This isn't any big deal, but I see many people mentioning how long they've been playing this game and I can't find that statistic anywhere. Okay, I'm dumb, but is it listed somewhere or do these people play with a stopwatch app or something like that?

It's actually tracked in Steam, not in Skyrim itself. I don't remember where, but I've looked at mine before. Dig around in Steam for some stats and you'll find it.

If you play on PC & Steam; there should be time played on the game below "Play" button.
Someone fix this if I'm wrong.

Oh, okay. Thanks.

I usually play by just using the TESV executable instead of the Steam launcher. I guess that leaves me out.

I don't think so. Steam should still track the game, even if you don't launch from Steam.

It also says so in the saves overview when you mouse over a save.

Why yes it does. Thanks!

I guess I should play more "the way it's meant to be played" instead of ignoring Steam and loading from the console.
