How can we turn off settlement raids with console commands?

The settlements were a surprise bonus feature and I like them enough to have many at this point. But I find the settlement raids too buggy and disruptive. Most of the time I must either not see an alert or maybe don't even get them, I just find one of my settlements has almost all items broken and I have to go through the tedium to repair everything. When I do get an alert, what should be a fun battle isn't when I fast travel there and find a super mutant band has spawned INSIDE my carefully planned perimeter negating most of the defenses I put up, and its a cluster-[censored] free-for-all battle which isn't that enjoyable.

This probably isn't known or even possible but thought I'd ask, are there any ideas of what could be done from the console to turn these off or otherwise defeat them? Or perhaps an exploit? I'm guessing the scripts can't be modified until the creation kit is available.

I think this can be done by getting at the variables to control to the settlement raids

This post alludes to some variables which didn't work in my game (variables were not found)

How do you search for variables from the console?
