WHATS UP WITH THIS NUMBERED USERNAME I GOT GOING ON AND NO OPTION TO CHANGE IT?

you are stuck with it, you got it because thats what you chose. If you want a new username you gotta make a new account.

I think I also got stuck with a random username. Their gamespy import must've failed. So irritating.

Edit: Actually it looks like they just used my email address. Well done EA. Pity it doesn't work in the game...

This makes no sense...What does that number even stand for because i never chose it. I registered for an acccount through the in game options, probably just like everyone else, and never chose a username for anything. All it ever asked for was an email account and password. Thats it. And i dont have a gamespy account nor see why i would even need one so what is going on here crytek??? I know im complaining about something stupid but why wouldnt you simple be able to choose a username of your liking to participate on your community site.

Total F---ing fail. I am sick of being forced to use some god damn log in by each F---ing company and the F---ing log in does not work in the F---ing game I bought.

This is the 5th game I have bought in a row that is broken/jack'ed up the log in system.
The damn log in used my E-mail as my name and the GAME DOES NOT ALLOW A "@" IN THE LOG IN!!!

I have not even played the F---ing game yet and I am already pissed off at it.

I posted a topic earlier titled the same thing, but either way, I registered through the demo on Xbox, was given no option for a username, assumed it would use my GamerTag or email. It's **** cause it's linked to this email address now so I can't created a new account with it. Not to mention the email I got as a result of that registration had no subject. Pretty piss-poor implementation up to this point. Go take some notes from bungie.com or badcompany2.ea.com. Top notch implementation and features for a game site, especially with stats.
