I am playing on very difficult and I see peasants and my own horse are stronger than me I can leave them fight the dragons in my place , hide in a shack and then come out claiming and pretending I did all alone with my soul reward ... this is utterly stupid , I am supposed to be the hero in the game and not a weack character that needs the protection of peasants and his own horse , wich I am supposed to protect ... may be is fault of the level capping? or the level I set ( max difficulty? )

the dragons get simply charged by the horse that seeems immune to any kind of dragonbreath , same said for the peasants and villains , that all call for my help when they can beat any dragon even alone couse they also seem immortal when fighting a dragon , that shoudl be supposed to kill almoust anyone and anything but me ...

so is there anything that can be done? a Patch ? A mod? or some other thing with the actual game that can make those act normally?

Anyonelse feels the same and got a solution ? How's like at lower difficulty levels?

That must be most retarted answer i ever heard! Game is not perfect. I am fighting the same situation as you. Unfortunately we need to wait mods like OOO that fixed this in oblivion. I don't want to set my difficult to easy cause it ruins all the fun from me. If you are playing with console then unfortunately you can't do anything :/.

I don't know why bethesda is doing this. Peasants should die with a single blow. It's stupid to "level-scale" them like they do now. We can't do anything yet beacause Bethesda decided this.

It seems like dragons scale with you, while the rest of the world is static, so it probably won't be so awkward and off-putting when you're higher level. It is probably most noticable on harder difficulties because all of the static NPC's in the world are just THAT much stronger.

I'd just try to fight dragons alone, or even help the dragon, until you both get to a level where the dragon's can rightly thrash any extra's who have joined the battle.

I am trying now on medium but then the monster are easier ... Altough may be better balanced because the strongest monsters usually kill me with one or two hits forcing me to fight with arrows and magic , but I like to go into melee so I think may be I shoudl scale this down , it woudl't have been better tough if they didn't rise their damage but just their health , and leave untouched the peasants and villagers to a low level status , also I always found hilarous that the guards are always stronger than me no matter the level , so what is theneed for my hero if they can deal with dragons alone?
