Oh wow and what is the point of rushing SP? To prove that Camarillo didn't say truth about 12h SP? I have played 5h and im far from end, and i enjoy to watch view's, play some "action bubbles" in stealth mode to take aliens/cell units 1 by 1, watch each cut-scene, etc.

Those who rush game only to be fastest or prove something don't appreciate game and company which create this game.

Could have sworn we played games to enjoy them. I don't know about you guys but 5 hour clear doesn't sound optimally enjoyable.

I want my moneys worth...
I took my time... looked around, played on vet difficulty, watched all cut scenes, listened to conversations between marines/cell, listen to the radio that plays, looked for hidden items, stealth killed alot etc and the game still only took alittle over 8 hours.

Also this is the only game when I had no idea the game was at end.... Why does this game have no credits??? I played the ending twice because I thought I skipped something but all that appears is "Crysis 2" and then back to menu. Woohoo how fun

Playing like a sloth isnt fun to most people.

drawing out a game to make it longer is retarded.

5-6 hours? Ridiculous!!

I put a solid 20 hours in...I payed SO MUCH attention to the beautiful graphics, listened to every conversation, I would plan each scenario, and tackle it in various ways constantly (so I'd play like one level several times for my appeal and experimentation), I'd play with the physics in the environment, stop and listen to Hans Zimmers amazing OST for this game, and etc.....the AI is amazing much of the time (sometimes not, but most of the time they are great). I loved this game and am aiming for a newgame+ (which is a great feature!! I loved playing Crysis 1 multiple times but Crysis 2 has unlockables that stick with you :D)

10,5 hours on soldier for me. I took my time, especially with the first couple of levels, where things were still quiet.

I'm not playing the single player until they release a DX11 patch.

But I agree with people that say it's pointless to rush through a game for the sake of... what, nothing? If it's taken you six hours to complete a 12 hour single player campaign, then you've wasted six hours of your life by playing something you couldn't possibly enjoy as much as you were meant to.

I'd rather take 12 hours and fully explore the game than spend 6 hours rushing through it just so I can whine like a baby on the forums about how short it is.

But to each his own.

Lol... that's a logic. So you suggest everyone should play game as long as designers tell them to? For the sake of supposed "enjoying"? You ever considered someone might go through game quickly and enjoy it by the time well too? Some people don't need to touch every single square meter of the map or make 10 attempts to finish "the boss" in order to enjoy the game well good enough.

It's a bit contradictory to play the game slowly when there's that Gould guy telling us to rush all the damn time...I did play very slowly on crysis 1, here I'm trying aswell but you get the constant "get over here fast I can't hold much longer" which totally breaks your immersion when you are trying a slow/sneaky playstyle. The game is simply short, Why? Because it looks good on consoles and if you try to fit a good looking game with multiplayer on an outdated 360 dvd you run out of space, why do you think they put a whole full extra game on the PS3 version of Dead Space 2? There was just too much extra room.

Took me 12 hours. I didn't realize it was a race, or I totally would have burned through it so i could post my awesome results online for all to be jealous of, like a boss.

My first playthrough took me 7 and a half hours. The most recent playthrough I did was just speeding through Supersoldier just to get the trophy for it, and that was 5 and a half.

And why are people calling it Post-Human Warrior difficulty? Or is that what the hardest difficulty is called in european versions?
