Maybe I went into Valthume too early (I was only Level 9), because the Deathlords were almost too much for me. I did finally kill them with a little trickery (no cheating), however, when it came to Hevnoraak, I had no chance. I didn't want to, but I had to cheat (tgm) to kill him.

So I'm just wondering... if you killed Hevnoraak without cheating, what level were you and how did you do it?

My level twenty character who gathered all of the masks beat him with a hammer repeatedly. He can be stunlocked by a Mage, and there are a lot of obstacles for sneaky types in the Main chamber where the battle takes place. I have beaten him with a level six character, but the Stray Dog kept him pinnned in position while my character just kept smashing him with Trollbane.

On my last character, I was at least level 50. But that's the only time I've been to Valthume.

I was pretty high level, maybe 40's. Just rushed him and beat his head in with a warhammer.

I don't even remember since it was 300-400 game hours after that I clearout Valthume.

If you have trouble to him why not use a shout to defeat him and I suggest that you use Ice Form since it paralayze your enemy so to speak, but don't use Unrelenting Force since you could send your enemy off the cliffs.
