How does Crysis 2 damage work?

If someone could please explain the Crysis 2 damage to me it would be great. Maybe this is to much of a broad topic. I understand that in armor mode you can take more bullets. I know using shift, jump, cloak. and thermal consume energy. Sprinting takes about the most, unless you are moving and are in cloak. Do different guns deal different damage? Obviously, (like in Battelfield Bad Company 2) when blood splatters on your screen you know you are in trouble. In the first Crysis there was a meter that showed an exact amount. You guys may not know much on the damage yet. In this game you die much faster, unlike Crysis 1 (unless someone has really amazing aim or you severly damage your nano suit or you get ganged.)

Thanks
