So, how does this DLC Begin

Post » Wed Nov 21, 2012 2:03 am

So, how does this installed DLC Begin? I loaded up my game and I see nothing in regards to "DawnGuard?" I started my current game, checked the Perk tree and there were no two additional perk tress? Nor, is there anything on the map? Did I in fact waste $20? Can someone please enlighten me? Thank you.

There is a thread in the general discussion forum that covers this -- to quite from it !

Once Dawnguard is installed (along with the 1.6 title update), players that are level 10 or higher will hear rumors about the Dawnguard from guards in major cities. They may also be approached by a courier who will give them a note about the Dawnguard. Otherwise, if your character is below level 10 or you wish to find the Dawnguard on your own, you can seek out the Dawnguard headquarters roughly east/southeast of Riften. It can be reached by a small cave through the mountains.

You must be level 10 i think before the DLC is triggered. Go to a town or city and speak to a guard, they will mention the Dawnguard being back in Skyrim and it will start the quest. Make sure you turn your 360 off after downloading and then restart otherwise it won't trigger the first quest.

Enjoy, it's worth every penny.

I was approached by Durak, a robed Orc from the Dawnguard order. No guards or curiour. He approached me in Whiterun outside breezehome.

I'm on the PC

but yeah, there is no ingame notice that DG is installed and active. My character was lv55 at the time too.

The first thing you need to do is summon the invisible swordsman. To do that, you need to locate the singing bush and repeat the sacred words, then fire you're pistol in to the air....

...wait
...no, that's something else all together.

Nevermind.
