Unfortunately, neither X or R works for me. Out of curiosity, what did you bind R to on your system? I've got mine set to "Left" which is why I can't Drop w/ it. But I've tried every key on the keyboard and can't find where Drop moved to.

I bound R-Ctrl to Sheath/Ready but it also seems to work for dropping items from inventory.

I have the same issue. R does not drop but I haven't assigned R to anything else.

R is showing as the drop key in inventory but it simply does not work.

I just experienced the same issue. To solve it I deleted the "ControlMap_Custom.txt" from Skyrim Folder (which reset the keys to default) and then reassigned them but the R key as it seems that touching this one mess the R key to drop stuff too.

For me it works to use the "delete" key above the cursor keys (ENTF in german). Click on the item you wish to drop, then "delete" and you will be asked how many of them you want to drop.

This worked for me.

After deleting the controlmap file I was able to drop again although when I remapped my keys to the way I like them (not including R which isnt on the keymap list) I was unable to drop once again.

When you change the default keybinding, the displayed hints don't change.

Even better, some of the sub-commands are linked to the keybinding and some are not - even when you change bindings, some of the hints are right and some are not.

If it weren't 3am I would document it all and do Bethesda's post-release beta testing for them.
