How do I dual wield weapons?

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 1:19 pm

I'm on PS3 and can not figure this out.... I've tried every button then I looked in the one handed perk tree to see if maybe I needed to buy the perk but saw nothing.

Any help is appreciated, I must be overlooking something that's right in front of me. :brokencomputer:

Anybody? I know this is a really quick bump but I've got Skyrim running in the background, right outside of a quest and I want to get this settled before I go in.

I startedas a nord and equipped a sword, then equipped a dagger and it went stright into the off hand.
You may be limited to certain combinations - no dual weilding big battleaxes etc, but you should be able to select two different hand weaons and get dual weilding.
Check you don't have a two handed weapon or sheild equiped first.

I just figured it out. I feel stupid now lol

You hit L1 to put one in your left hand and R1 for right.

I'm on an X-Box, but it should be like this: Highlight the weapon and use L2 and R2 to choose the hand, and beside it an arrow type thing should be beside it pointing left or right, same for when in the favs menu. Kinda like that, took me about an hour on and off to work it out, maybe I shoulda used the manual... Oh,you got it,I was close enough, lol. Happy killing!

To be fair, I had no idea how to do it until just now. I don't think it was pointed out in the E3 demo, and that's all I had to go on. Skyrim arrives tomorrow for me.
