Recently I started looking into the requirements to become Emperor and I have some queries I would like to ask about. Of course I am not going to say the Emperor should not own the Ruby Throne because that would be Stupid, but every source I have looked at stated that the highest ranked PvP player in the faction that controls the Ruby Throne would be crowned Emperor. Right. The only problem with that is the highest ranked player in my Guild on SWTOR and FFXIV would svck as an Emperor. Yeah sure he cant fight, but politics he svcks balls, which Bethesda have said will play some role. So I was just ask to clarify is it the single best player or, as I would like to see, the highest ranked PvP guild leader. This way it would mimic the idea of Houses fighting for the throne, A Game of Ruby Thrones. Showing more of a political side to the Emperor and this would also prevent the possibility of an Emperor who is the lowest rank in the Guild.This way the Guild you join is your way of casting a vote for the Emperor. The Guild Leader you fight for is the Emperor you want. This would cause more competition between guilds.
Please share you view on this Idea of Guild Leader = Emperor or if this is what they are already doing and I cant read please tell me.
