How do i get rid of a dead body? : V

Anyone know how i can get rid of a dead companion from my house? She disappeared during an expedition and at some point turned up at my spare room in Whiterun dead. It's ruining the ambience. Any ideas how to get rid?

lmao no Idea but you could drag her like under your stairs and how of the way idk what platform your using but you hold the interaction button down to pick stuff up i say drag her/him under the stairs and out of site

PC? if so hit the ~ key in game...click on the body and hit type disable then enter. Make sure you click on the body...

or type ressurect if you want her back.

I'm playing on PS3 and noticed that holding X on an object allows me to handle it, and it works on bodies. A quick tap of X and I search, but if I hold the button down then I apparently "grab" whatever it is. So maybe you can just drag her out of your house...

don't you have some empty barrel or something to stuff her in XD
though that might not exactly help the atmosphere improve it will get her out of the way XD

It's part of a quest. You have to figure out who killed her and why they brought her back to your house. CSI: Skyrim.

I'm on an xbox as well, and hardly any of the bodies are disappearing at all, only "enemy" bodies and creatures will disappear, for example a whiterun guard died for some reason and his body has been in the city for about 20 levels now, it will not go away. and after completing the Alik'r quest two more, for some reason, rocked up in whiterun, so i killed them but their bodies will not go away either.... :S

Reanimate her as an undead minion, have her follow you to the alchemy lab, and wait for the spell to wear off. Once that's done she should be nothing more than an inconspicuous pile of ash lying within a room full of other salts and ashes.

An enemy body will disappear if it has not been looted from.
This MAY require you to have opened the menu screen and exited without taking anything.
I'll be doing experiments on this tomorrow and I'll bring it up then.
Other than that I've not seen any 'natural' way or making bodies disappear.

Hit it with the fireball spell, it will launch it into orbit.
