How do I get a silver sword? : V

I'm trying to use an atronach forge recipe but I cannot find a silver sword to save my life... Can anyone help?

I've already joined the companions and finished the entire quest... do any of them sell them?

Just look at caves for Silver Hand people.
Unless the Silver Hand only exist if you are a companion, which i don't think is the case.

Being Companion is not necessary. Silver hands are still living in some forts and are hostile to you so go on and kill a few to get their weapons. I personally dislike silver sword because you can't improve it and it fells off if you try to put it on a weapon rag.

They put silver swords in the game but decided to not allow you to improve them making them useless. The logic of Beth sometimes I swear.

Sometimes I just wonder WHY you can't improve them, Especially since their damage is so damn pathetic.

Too bad, they were looking awesome (compared to Oblivion's which were meh)
