How do i get the "Recover the Bonemold Formula" quest from Glover Mallory?

I allredy did the ancient pickaxe quest.

You need to be a member of the Theive's Guild.

I see, thanks for the replies. Im indeed not in the theifs guild so that explains why i cant get the mission.

How far into the thieves guild? I have already done a few quests and the guy still isn't giving me the quest.

I found the formula, but as I am not in the TG, I will not get the quest. I can make the armor though.

there's a special armor? Where is this formula? RAVIOLI RAVIOLI GIVE ME THE FORMULONI!

Great, another "quest item" permanently stuck in my inventory.

If anyone has done this quest please tell me how far you were into the thieves guild quest line when you completed it.

I am not in the Thieve's Guild, but I found the formula as well.

It's just a piece of paper, so no weight (though admittedly might still be annoying), located on a dead (presumably) thief wearing a visually-identical copy of Linwe's armor, but you can't take the armor. I can say where I found it, but it might spawn in different locations. I'm not sure.

You have to be a member of the Thieves guild in Skyrim, get the quest for burning the bee hives, and get a quest from Dex and that other person. That as far as I got with the thieves guild, and had no problem. I did not complete the above mentioned, just got them.

Okay, I'll try that and see if it works.

It worked, I did a mission from Vex and one from Delvin and then Glover gave me the mission.
