Ah! How do I get this arrow out of my arm?

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 6:07 am

Title says it all really. It's going to get infected.

Reloading game, sleeping changing clothes etc not working. I assume it's a glitch, or am I supposed to find a doctor or something?

Anyone else had this?

Quite a few people have reported this glitch, it will disappear eventually after a few days ingame, or if you get shot again.

Thanks. Maybe I was a bit hasty in going back to before I was shot. It was a while before I went back to 3rd person. Oh well.

It actually looked pretty cool after the battle, right under the shoulder, but didn't fancy spending the whole game with it there.

Heh, you should have seen my orc yesterday. I got blasted in the face with an ice lance by a hagraven; it nearly killed me. For the next couple of days I had two ice shafts sticking out the back of my head.

It doesn't take much to improve an Orcs looks :)

Beak it above the point of entry (break the side you nock) then push it through the wound, never pull it out the way it came you will just do more damage. Dress the wound immediately and apply lots of pressure to slow bleeding

My guy has currently got two arrows in him. On goes straight through his head entering dead centre on his nose, the other is sticking through his belly. He looks very funny! It is a bizarre glitch, though.... I hope it's fixed soon.

I could remove 2 arrows sticking in the torso of my companion simply by taking them from her inventory.
Maybe it helps if you drop all arrows from your own inventory on the ground, for a moment?

My warrior had an arrow stuck through his head for the longest time. It should have been a total kill shot.

I ended up restarting to play a rogue/wizard before it ever disappeared.

So much for the incredible AI. Nobody even mentioned it. =) Funny how people will tell you you look sick, but won't bother mentioning the arrow through your cranium.

i think i might help you and other people that had the same problem. If you have an arrow in your arm, face ect. the thing you need to do is to press the ยง button (above tab) then in the console. Type: sixchange. aviously you will change your characters six but the arrow will dissapear. then just type it again to get your original character back. Done! Sorry for my language. i speak only dragontoung from now on!
