I'm a bit confused as to what guilds are and how they work , are they faction specific? The news of guilds is new to me! I sound like a noob!

Your account can join 5 guilds.

You can even join enemy faction guilds.

Each guild has a max cap of 300.

You have to join a guild to use the guild auction house. (GAH)

There are no other AHs in the game.

Everything I said is subject to change. Release is about 8 months away.

Its like any other MMO you join a player guild. ESO will be alittle different as your alts from the enemy faction can still join your main guild but only to be able to chat, you cannot play together. And you can join multiple guilds

More than one guild works, but account-chained and no ah makes it dull, i hope they will at least remove the account-linked thing so there can be pure faction guilds and not with alts from other factions, idk want to join a hybrid faction guild go pay a shady kajit in the poor part of town to translate for you a request letter for a guildmaster in the other faction if they have more space and are open to invites that is.
