I killed my first st the second town north of Riverwood. It was not too hard, but dragon fire is extremely painful. I had this axe of cold, and was smacking in the face with it once he landed. It was funny, cause the first fight I was only a few fights from killing it, only to have him suddenly nom me.

I just had my first solo dragon battle after the initial story one. I was in a area with some hot springs fighting a few skeletons when I heard the dragon roar so I started moving towards it and noticed it was actually fighting someone else. Thinking I'd use it to my advantage I began to unleash the full horrifying fury of my novice spark spell (with dualcast perk). At this point I see the dragon's target, a giant and with a mammoth and decide that, fighting shoulder to shoulder (sort of) we'll vanquish this abomination, which after a good fight with lots of me being roasted, we do...

...Great , I think. A new dragon soul and I've helped out a cool giant who proceeds to laugh at me and, with one bone-crunching swing of his club, knock me into the floor like a nail. Git.
