The recent surge of personal topics has made me realize how much I want to know how long everybody's eyelashes are.

Interesting topic. The advertisemant of cosmetics, most notably for females, proclaims the beauty of long eyelashes. However, has anyone asked the question "how long is the average eyelash"? Perhaps a study of the average eyelash length of BSF members against estimated lengths of cosmetically enhanced "luscious eyelashes" (or, if anyone were to compare the length of their own eyelashes pre- and post-cosmetic application), we may just be able to investigate whether the constant commercial insistence on long eyelashes presents just another "must have" image which is unattainable for the average teenage girl.

I'd estimate my own to be around the 0.00005 furlong mark.
