PS3 has allot of time that the FPS <30 and for some reason the Xbox has better FPS, and it is a less powerful system.

I couldn't find a MP version of these videos, but gives a good idea if SP does this to the FPS, imagine the MP.

As one of the users on YouTube commented, a 5fps variance between the two consoles is nothing to write home about. Just because a system has higher specs does not necessarily mean that it's going to outperform its "lesser" competitors. Frankly, they did a decent job of making these two versions of the game approximately identical. It'll be a few months before they are able to work the bugs out. Until then, for me at least, the game runs well enough.

I want forever as an option... but seriously do you want them to rush things? I would wait a long time if they would fix some of the most important issues.

I might give up Crysis 2 when BF3 comes out (if it is any good that is)...

a) Framerate in the campaign mode isn't something that can be "patched"

b) I saw that comparison before I bought the game, and it was the reason I bought the PS3 version. The 360's framerate is more consistent, but it has visible screen tearing, whereas framerate drops of 3-5 fps aren't really noticeable

c) Since you're talking about "imagining" things, it's pretty clear you don't even have the game, i.e. this is a troll thread. kthxbye.

2 months at most unless they give a steady stream of patches and dlc for a reasonable price Ill move on

Not strictly true, if u read digital foundry tech anolysis or the lens of truth one. Ps3 version frame rate drops more overall, mainly during scenes with nothing going on or in video cut scenes, but is more stable when action is intense, often staying 4-5 frames higher. Furthermore the global average in sp and mp is less than 1fps.

It's crap on both systems though.

As for the whole ps3 /360 , which is more powerful that's a long complex debate, but i can fill u in if u really want

5 months. If the most annoying problems aren't fixed, goodbye entire modern online community (Already got tired of poor matchmaking and lag), welcome good old SWAT 4 and AvP2 with their dedicated servers and no matchmaking ****.

...why are we paying $60 to beta test a game that is suppose to be a release. And why are all these gaming review companies giving this game a 90% when there is these issues going on.

IGN didnt even talk about the FPS issue, but if you watch the video review, it is written on the pro's and cons (but never talked about). How does a game get a 90 with a FPS issue????

ign were talking about frame rate in campaign not the mp mode, and also would havent had anyone online to play with as the servers werent up and running, and beta had finished. they were probably playing bots or against other reviewers at the review conference where they reviewed game, and most likely crytek had a special network set up, not p2p.if u watch lens of truth anolysis videos and read article, the frame rate on mp is reasonable, averaging about 28fps. Which is what makes me suspect, along with fact ive never had framerate issues myself online and have minor lag most the time, and occasionally none, that mostr of what ppl think is framerate isssues is network coding issues and lag

FYI that is another EA game...they are lucky i still buy hockey from them and happy that NFS is cool...but when it comes to FPS, they have no clue. My faith, once again, is faulty when it comes to EA produced products...they dont seem to care what they put there name on anymore.

Ea are simply the publishers mate, they stump up money to develop game whilst crytek make it, in exchange for huge profits .
Bf3 also has dedicated servers like bc2 which helps a lot with online issues

If you want Crytek to fix things, give them time to fix problems well, not fast.
I'm having no framerate issus exept while using scopes in cloak mode and during the gamma burst.
But I can't play since my right anolog stick snapped off.

ridiculous really. I am still in between keeping it and trading it off. I hate the fact that they have the cod replica match making big mistake there and rushing the game out and making every one a beta tester. This should have been fixed before it is to be release but no. I really do enjoy this game but I'm getting to the point were I feel like beating the poop out of something cause I'm real frustrated with it last I checked I was somewhere rank 3thousand area k/d ratio 1.49 and which mean I real good but lately the lag and the terrible frame rate drop is unbearable. I'm gonna give them a month if nothing improve say bye bye crysis 2 even if just a little and not gonna waste my time with it and please fix the link in this damned forum hate to keep pressing to the back just to get to the main page.

just trade it in mate, i got what I paid for the game back. If (and thats a big if) the game gets fixed I will think about picking up a bargain used copy
