How long is Dishonored

Post » Wed Aug 15, 2012 10:15 am

Don't know how much it galls me to spell DishonoUred incorrectly :D

Okay, I wonder if it is known how long the game will be for one play through? I know with the many options in a mission there are many play throughs available but as money is tight ATM with lack of job I am leaning more towards this game rather than Borderlands 2 I currently have pre-ordered which has a lot of playability but DishonoUred's style and universe is better I think.

Any ideas?

No correct way to spell it.

12 hours if you rush it. Double and more if you explore. Lot's of replayability so asking for lenght in games like this is meaningless unless you just want it for the story.

I was joking about the spelling.

I just wanted a ball park figure as I mentioned there were many variables to the gameplay. I never rush games so I would get a fair amount of bang for my buck I guess.

Then you will have an awesome time with Dishonored, trust me. As a man who doesn't rush unnecessary things.

12 hours is for those who will only assassinate the target and get out. So that's about a third or even less of every mission. I will personally go through everything as best as I can so it will take me ages just like with DX:HR even though it wasn't really all that long.

The thing is right now it doesn't matter if it's only 8 hours long or replayability isn't high, I know I need to try this game out regardless.

Even if it svcks with reviews,I need to try it out fuliy.

I think it would be pointless to rush through any game. I prefer to take it slowly and get immersed. Besides, I'd still buy it if it was 2 hours long and still had a great experience. That's why I judge games based on how much I enjoyed it, not how many hours were soaked up by it.

There's also side-quests isn't there? So unless you're Yahtzee Croshaw, why rush it?
