How to make a chest animate open?

PlayAnimation("Open") does not seem to work. Basically I have a chest that has its activation blocked, and onActivate it opens up a different chest in a different cell. All that works properly, but the darn thing doesn't animate any more.

So basically you want a chest that just animates but doesn't work as a container?

Not sure if this would work but could you make a door using the chest model? Like the display cases.
