OK, so my pure mage (focusing on Destruction, Conjuration and Illusion) is having a really hard time of it, and I can barely go anywhere without having my [censored] handed to me. One of my major issues is that magicka doesn't regen in combat (or it doesn't regen quickly at any rate), and so I am constantly finding myself running away from four or more enemies, and dying in one or two hits. This is no fun. My Flame Atronarch is useful against basic Draugr enemies, although she doesn't really cut it when the going gets tough. I get the feeling that getting into Alchemy would be a great benefit to me, as I could stock-pile magicka potions which would help me out big time. Any idea which ingredients go together to make magicka potions, and where you can find these ingredients? Thanks.

Fire Salt, Moon Sugar and Snoberries will regen magicka, restore magicka, resist fire and resist frost.

Briar heart, Jazbay graqes and moon sugar will regen Magicka, restore magcika and fortify magicka.

Reg, one effect regen magicka is creep cluster and red mountain flower.

Nearly every town has a shop that sells alchemical ingredients. I found moon sugar on drug dealers, which are random encounters. The graqes are found with food a lot and the briarhearts I see in dungeons a lot. Any combination will work. You don't even need to have a high skill level, like in previous games. Just as long as you know what does and doesn't go together.
