I dont want to play an incredibly half arsed "race" game. I bought a shooter, I want to play a shooter.

I have added the race cash into my inventory with the console, but the mechanic still wont sell me anything. Is there a command I can use to force him to sell me things? Or at least a console command to fit miniguns to that ridiculous buggy I have to drive so that I can play the game I bought?

You can change to easy mode for racing, then switch back to whatever you have. The racer AI does actually decline, it's just not as noticeable because all they're doing is driving their path.

Or you can use one of my savegames where I've saved after the races

You bought a shooter that was advertised as having racing in it; hell, the racing was a HUGE component of the pre-release hype. How on earth you managed to miss that fact I have no idea.

IMPORTANT NOTE - I am NOT "defending the racing" here (just cos some like to try twist things that way). I'm just stating a fact. You'd need to have been living in a cave for the past 7-odd years to not be aware that it had racing, so good, bad or ugly it's still part of the game you bought and you were not decieved as to it's content.
