How Many Animals in Animal Extermination? : V

Ok, so I have have now received and finished this quest over 20 times. Aela keeps paying me 300 bucks, but I'm getting a little tired of this. I've killed bears, wolves, trolls, ice wraiths, and sabre cats. Does this sound like mine is glitched, or is it meant to be this way? Rescue Mission is doing the same thing.

Should I just punt because this seems like a waste of time?

its not a glitch. unfortunately its how the radiant quests are. go to x and kill y, come back to get $. like dailies.

Supposedly she should send you on a quest to gather Wolf-totems that increase your beast shout. I forget what triggers the dialog, though. I got tired of being told to play animal-control so I quit asking her for work long ago.

Nope. its a repeating quest, and go to the companions for work never goes out of your journal

I did finish all the totems, but the ones from Aela and I believe Vilkas are the ones that don't go away. They are so quick it takes longer to load the screens than kill anything. Really monotonous.

I think the Companions were meant to be an introductory quest line for low level players and the extermination series is meant to provide some steady income.
