How many dragons have you slayed so far?

As I don′t have this game I haven′t even seen one. But you have, and how many of them didn′t see the next day after the encounter?

I'd say around 50 including Alduin and Parthrunix. I got 20 dragon souls right now, but when ever I try to unlock a new word it says I don't have souls. It will only unlock if I kill another dragon.

I don't think I killed as many cliffracers in MW as I have dragons. Common as house flies.

Enough to make them extinct, yet they still keep spawning....

I think like 6 or 7.

I try to avoid them because all they do is waste my time and arrows LOL

Disagree, not nearly as annoying as cliff-racers.They take a bit longer too kill, they drop gold and items to make armor from, and you can safely play through 90% of the content without ever seeing one as long as you don't start the main quest. And after 80 hours of playing time I'd only killed about 50 or so dragons, the same could not be said of cliffracers.I must have killed hundreds of those in MW.

After about a 100 hours of playing, I honestly have no idea how many dragons I've slain. Maybe 10 or 20. I don't know how people keep track. Is there a place in the UI or something that shows this information?

The first dragon I encountered I was trying to hid from since I was only level 8 and did not want to fight. I thought the dragon left. When I came out of the cabin I was hiding in the dragon landed in front of me. I did on quick burst of flame and ducked back into hiding only to find out I killed the dragon. I only held the spell button for maybe five seconds. I do remember the health bar for the dargon was full when I started. I find if fun how some are real easy why others can be a real pain to deal with.

Under magic in the stats tab, it tells how many dragon souls you've absorbed, which is basically how many you've slain.

Perhaps 7 or 8, mostly because Bethesda's patch game_destroyer 1.3 makes it impossible for dragons to land on solid ground or at the very least hoover so i can manage to hit them vit an arrow or a spell.

Doesn't seem like an issue with the patch, because I've used 1.3 for a while and now I'm using 1.4, and dragons have behaved the same since release.I didn't use 1.2 though, maybe that's the one you're referring to?

The most in one game is 60ish. But they're a bit like Oblivion gates, so for some games I don't let the MQ advance far enough to generate them.

I was being sarcastic, not literal. Just trying to make the point dragons can be very common in the game.

What are you talking about? I never had any problems with dragons not hovering or not landing.

Im on xbox 360, and PC but hate playing with a keyboard and mouse so xbox is my primary gaming station. Im also on the 1.3 "patch". 1.2 worked perfectly, but I havnt been able to kill a single dragon with the 1.3 "patch". Skyrim works perfect on mac, but then again who really wants to play with a mouse and keyboard.

Its ironic how a game that is optimized for xbox runs way worse than Skyrim on my macbook pro running Mac OS X.

Know issue for xbox and ps3 users. Dragons wont land or hoover, they will just fly by, fly backwards or simply fly over in sircles without attacking the players or npc's.

However Skyrim runs great and without any problem on my mac.

Never saw a non-landing dragon or had any similiar problems on the PS3. The performance isn't that bad either, at least it's runs smoother than Fallout: New Vegas, but I guess that goes a little bit off topic.

I'm not sure how many dragons Ive killed so far, but it could be around 30.
Most of them appeared inside towns, and the biggest dragon magnet so far is Winterhold.

A helluva lot more than 60 (which is what you need to get all of the shouts), maybe 70-80. I wish Bethesda saw this eventuality and made souls useful, like one soul=1 perk or one shout, but that would lead some OCD people to kill 200 dragons to get all the perks.

I prefer the mouse and keyboard. And from what I've heard the Xbox Skyrim is not "optimal". Anyways, different strokes for different folks, man. I have used all of the patches and never had a problem killing a dragon because of a patch.

I'd suggest let people fill soul gems with them.
I think theres already a mod that allows you to get perks with them but I personally wouldn't use it, too overpowered.
Anyway about 20 on my present character who is level 36 and about 150 hours in.
