How many people actually played Crysis 1 ?

Post » Mon Aug 23, 2010 12:07 pm

There are many posts from gamers who didnt played the first Crysis.
I think its logical that not everyone has a Pc that is strong enough and so many people dont know what a great game Crysis was.
I played it 6 times since now and it never gets boring. For example i played Modern Warfare 2 only once.. i tried to play it again but it was just lame then.

Anyway...I wanna know :

How much "hardcoe" Crysis Fans are still around?
Or at least how many people actually played Crysis 1 ( and warhead) ?

And what do you think of Crysis 2 in its current state?

Does it all point to ;

A: A glorious successor
B: A mediocre standard shooter
C: A letdown and not worthy to be named" Crysis"

Even though i'm a PC gamer, I have both Crysis AND Warhead and i've played both all the way thru, twice.

I can't say I like the idea of New York, but I highly doubt Crysis 2 will be a C. At LEAST a B, but most likely an A because Crytek is really pushing this game.

But I guess we will (somewhat) know when the 360 test is released, BOOYAH!

EDIT: I meant that im a console gamer.

Crytek should prioritize an 'edit' button over Crysis 2 as of now...

I think you should first realize that not ll the gamers who are posting were in a position to play the last two games, but are still dedicated to Crysis 2, That said I started Crysis with an entry level Emachine, that ony needed a 1 gb g/c to complete the game and that was cheap also.

Im very sure that there are some real hardcoe players in here that did it all just like me and you, infact i am so hardcoe, I ordered the L/E to play the game, and the Nano as a collectable, just to be sure eh!!

Dont worry mate there are many of us

Maximum Game On :-)

I play Crysis multi all the time unpatched and I still look for glitches on single player, :p

that not everyone has a Pc that is strong enough and so many people dont know what a great game Crysis was.

Its not that demanding of a game to play anymore. To max it out, yes, but to play it with good fps it isn't. I know for a fact that you can play it on low with a radeon 4200 igp or higher and a good quad.

A, cuz, I was with the first wave of players back at 2007 in Va. who actually waited in line outside a Gamestop just to get one, I w8ted a year later for Warhead and bought the Crysis Special Edition.

I still play the Crysis up to this point, even on my laptop. It was the only game to really see if my pc's could handle extreme Hd gaming,

Just take it easy, @bigboulder

Plus: Im dedicated to the incoming Crysis 2.

I have played Far Cry, Crysis, and Crysis Warhead...so yeah, diehard Crytek fan.

I think that Crysis 2 has lots of room for improvement in its current state. I don't like the decision for 6on6 and no vehicles, I think the game really loses substance without those elements. However since everything has not been announced, I will reserve total judgement for now, but it is definitely in the realm of B: its looking generic right now. Hopefully Crytek spends the next 5 months wiseky to polish up the game and fix the many gameplay issues people have argued about.
