Including multiple ranks of each perk. Trying to plan out my build. Thanks

Probably 3 or 4, but some perks are useless

Depends on when you stop playing.

I have this question also.
I red somewhere that the lvl cap is 50, but after that we can still going up very slowly, if this is true it means that in theory we can have the all one day? Or after 50 never gain perks again?

The problem is that leveling is tied to skill increases. There are only so many skills, and once they're all 100, that is indeed "it." I've heard level 50 described as a "soft cap." In that it will be harder. I'm willing to bet we continue to gain perks, but even that will most likely cap at what I've heard is around 70-80.

I believe the "hard limit" beyond which no more progress is mathematically possible is level 81. That means 80 perk points. I have also heard that there are 20 perk points you can get from quests.

So the absolute hard limit if you are obsessive and patient is 100 perks. How many skill trees does that fill? Hard to say, as they all have different numbers of perks in them, but a guess would be about 9-10 skill trees.

For normal players 50 perks or so is probably it, so around 4-5 skill trees maxed.

Another issue though, is that there is little purpose in maxing out some of the trees (like 1 hander/2 hander). Not all of the perks actually relate to a particular style.

the mathmatical level cap is 75. So 74 perks is the most you can have. This is assuming you level most or maybe even all of ur skills to 100

Not that I personally care to use it but does anyone know yet if going to jail thus lowering your skills will allow you to level even higher? Worked in the previous games.

One of the notes on a loading screen says that jail just resets some skill progress.

In other words, no, can't get infinite levels.

Nope, they fixed that.

In jail, you lose your progress on the current skill point (so, you go from 76.5 down to 76), but you don't lose actual points.

Ah interesting. Lowers the pnealty for jail a bit though at higher skill levels (like being at 92.8) I could see that being a large detriment.
