So how many people you think will play The Elder Scrolls Online? Do you think it will beat World of Warcraft that old stupid game with its 9 million subscribers or Guild Wars 2 ?

In my personal opinion it could beat guild wars 2 but there are a lot of stupid people that would rather play wow and not thinking what they are doing, standing still and pushing few buttons....

Because this is a big chance to create really new MMO and I want to be the best MMO out there.....

Nobody should be trying to beat WoW, and fortunately I don't think ZOS is trying to. WoW's numbers will never be matched by anyone again, not even WoW itself.

This is going to be bigger than SWTOR. I tell you that much. 1.2 mill at FB. we are gonna beat SWTOR. ESO maybe biggest sales in the histroy of MMORPGs? Im sure we beat SWTOR. ESO is designed so much better, I havent yet spotted any major flaws in this game, how I'd say this this is more solid MMORPG, what should sink for the masses better than SWTOR.

I don't know about that. I would think that for the first few years it will remain around GW2 size (about 1mil). However if it stands the test of time, it will gain content, and players, and its reputation will grow. Maybe one day (think 4 - 5 years) it could be 8 million large.

Hopefully everything will go to plan I can see a couple million players on here easily.

I agree, I do hope that's this game will one day hold numbers in the 5 million area, that too me would be amazing in of itself.

This very much. ZOS just needs to make their own game and not worry about trying to beat this MMO or that MMO.

I uh, I'm sure GW2 sold about a million copies. But lets not start trying to pretend its got that many people playing it. When was the last time you logged into that game?

We will see when sale numbers are out.. SWTOR was at 2.2mill.

Initial sales are a bad thing to pay attention to though. SW:TOR tanked and went F2P in less than a year. TESO had better beat that.

This is exaclty the point what Im rying to say... everyone knew SWTOR was [censored] before launch. ESO is gonna sell more, even substantially.
