how many do you think please guys? or more important how many have you maxed out up to now please? i have nearly done the sneak tree and 1 handed, but i would like to know how many skill trees you could max out in the same play through?

yeah i posted about this before but i could not find my post?? i theory we should be able to max out all trees no? not that i want to on this char, but would love to have sneak, 1 hand, archery and a couple others!!

It is "possible" to max out all skills. What is your deffinition of a playthrough?

Aren't we limited to 50 perks? Or is it 70? I forget...

I read that the hard cap is level 70. So that means you can have max 69 perks. That means you cannot max out all trees.

Well obviously theres no set # as the number of skills in every tree is different but perhaps this will help you. Heres is what I have planned to do with my character:

Max Archery
Max Sneak
Max Smithing
Max Enchanting
Max Light Armor

With 9 skill points left over

This is assuming you take the time to level your character to 70

I'm not at home atm to double check the numbers but its somewhere in the ballpark

thanks for the replies guys but any hard evidence on numbers please as a lot of us are using guesstimates

gameplay wise we should end around lvl 50 , so 50 perks + some perks from quests , now count how many perks you want in youre trees

Hard cap is whenever you max out all of your skills which would bring you somewhere around 70-80...ish

I am level 23 and I only managed to max one 1 tree.

Some trees have more perks so my guess is around 3 trees.

If you got to 81

You could have 80 perks



You could get 6 entire trees and have 9 left over but since each tree has different numbers of perks it could be more or less

lockpicking only has 10 perks

One handed has 21
