I find myself choosing weapons, armor, homes, and spouses based on how they look rather than how they function. I'll also choose the "pretty" spouse opposed to one who is more practical (that badass Argonian male iirc). I'm not sure if it's always the best idea, but if it looks good and fits my character RP style, I wear it.

Does anyone else do this as well?
