How much gold + Quickbinding?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 6:10 am

1. How can i tell how much gold i have? It does not show up in my inventory. I just HOPE i have gold left after buying clairvoyance :P

2. How exactly do you set the quickkeys?

The printed manual for Skyrim is the most pathetic i've ever seen.

Each language has only 4 pages for it! (Scandinavian edition):
1 page is a PEGI/Epilepsy warning
1 page is info about family settings
1 page shows the (default) key layout, and the main menu options
1 page explains the GUI.

= Half the manual is useless info most people already know (especially if they are epileptic) and the rest is inadequte!

Btw: Bethesda, most people in Scandinavia know English. It is MANDATORY in our schools - make a proper manual in english or none at all!

You got a stripped down manual. In Canada here the manual is 20 pages, both english and french.

I'm still trying to figure out how to consistently make # assignments stick. I starts with "favoriting" the item in inventory, then out of inventory pressing the "favorite" button again, selecting the item and then pressing the # you want. For me the problem is that when you assign more than 1 item to a # they seem to get unassigned...

Thanks. Any info on how to know how much gold one have? I'm running on a multiscreen setup so the "gold indicator" may be hidden because of this.

Gold is on the bottom right in the inventory screen.

As for the manual, here it's 20 pages in Dutch in full color and nice design. Guess it's the distributing in your contry that's messed up or something.

to the best of my knowledge, your gold should be in the misc section of the inventory.
there may be a tally of it on the stats page for you character (i think if you press escape it's the 3rd tab on that menu), but i've not actually given that screen a proper look at yet because i don't associate ESC as being a function to give me gameplay info in an elderscrolls game so keep forgetting to do so (even though one of the tabs is the journal/quest info) :-/

It should be as simple as opening a dialog with a vendor, your gold amount will appear in the lower right of the screen as well as the amount that the vendor has (vendor is on the right, and your amount is on the left) on the lower right corner of the vendor screens.

You can get the manual from steam: http://cdn.steampowered.com/Manuals/72850/skyrim_gfw_manual-07.pdf?t=1321077519

I'm guessing they left out all of the good information so that people buy the Prima guide, I mean you know, they don't want to waste pixels on their consumers or anything like that.
